The Feral Project will research and develop an original play using cross-art collaboration of live music and acting. Over three separate, week-long rehearsal periods (in Eastleigh, Lancaster and Manchester) we will be exploring the legacy, life and death of Kaspar Hauser, by creating a unique play for the stage that will be toured next season. For more information about this project, please take a look here.
The Vonnegut Collective’s Gary Farr and Gemma Bass are supported for this project by PRS Foundation’s Open Fund, Arts Council England & The Fenton Trust.
Whilst we are developing this play, we will also be working with the Northern Theatre Laboratory, guest leading a number of workshops exploring the relationship between music and character development, as a part of THE FERAL PROJECT: EMBODYING A CHARACTER. The project will run for six weeks and will focus around the techniques and methodology of building and embodying a character. The series is open to all artists and you can find out more, or book your place here!
