February 20 News
This month, our founders Gemma and Gary have been busy meeting with our brilliant board members and planning ways in which to bring more New Music into the year of 2021. We did manage to squeeze in a few wonderful events though…
We have been working with University of Manchester’s post graduate composers and artist Laura Orton, exploring Shape and Colour. A bright and vibrant performance will be coming up on 12th March, 13.10-14.00 at the Martin Harris Centre. For more information, take a look here.
We also took part in a wonderful two-day workshop with Young Theatre Makers at the Lowry, along with interdiciplinary performer Zoe Katsilerou, working on their show ‘Secret Life of the Bunker People’. We will be working with them towards their performance at the Lowry Week 53.
And finally in exciting news, we were on BBC Radio 3! We were invited to the Freeness show, speaking about Craig Farr’s Dead End/Safe Haven, before featuring 10 minutes of our performance of the piece, from Brasswind Festival in Bergen. You can listen to our founders Gemma and Gary doing a sterling job here.
